The Courage To Be You
Often we try to be something that we are not. It doesn’t require courage to live a false identity. Courage is required when we set out to believe in ourselves. As women we carry a lot on our shoulders - balancing a career, managing a household and pursuing creative dreams. These are all things that require us to be the best version of ourselves.
The Purpose
On the evening of Monday, March 18th, more than 150 women will gather at Pallet 23 in Cincinnati’s Northside neighborhood to eat, drink, mingle, learn, and give back. All event proceeds will benefit the restoration of the women in City Gospel Mission’s “Having the Courage to Change” long-term addiction recovery program. Be an inspiration, and help these women break the cycle of poverty and despair.
The Experience
There will be plenty of experiences in which to participate, including: makeup and spa treatments, group photo-booth fun, health and wellness tips and gifts, and delicious treats from local sweeteries.
All of these experiences will be wrapped around an inspirational presentation from national-bestselling author Ali Cudby, fresh hors'devours made on site by Lula's Catering and custom cocktails served up by iconic Cincinnati mixologist Molly Wellman.
Ali Cudby, of Washington DC is the Founder of FabFoundation and author of "Busted!" After all, how can you be the best You without the proper "foundation"? Ali will be on Fox19 on Tuesday, March 19 so come out and give her a Cincinnati welcome.
The Cost
Ticket costs for the event begin at $35. Each ticket purchase is tax deductible (you will receive a receipt after the event). The ticket cost covers admission and hors'devours and also includes two or more "experience tickets", depending on which ticket level you purchase.
These experience tickets will give you access to exclusive encounters throughout the evening (such as a cocktail from Molly Wellman, an entry to win one of our exciting raffle items, or a makeup refresh by Alba Beauty Studio). You will be able to purchase additional tickets at the event for $5. So bring some cash, and be prepared to experience some incredible stuff!
*For those who select the "Super Courage" ticket above, you will receive books authored by Courage To Be You partners: Ali Cudby, Julie Bauke, and Lucreta Bowman (founder and director of City Gospel Mission's "Having The Courage To Change" program).

What are my parking options at the event?
There is a parking lot right next door with approx. 20 spots (pay box $.50-$2.00 depending on duration), ample on street parking & there is a large lot a block away behind Honey & Django.
